How I Learned the Hard Way: 3M Black Super Weatherstrip, Green Tape, and a $2,800 Epoxy Floor Mistake

The Job Seemed Simple Enough

October 2023. I’d just landed a home office conversion project in a suburban garage. The client wanted three things: epoxy floor coating, new weather sealing on the overhead door and the entry door, and a set of door hangers installed for a wall partition they’d later add.
